What a rich month this has been. I celebrated the release of CANTOS on September 18 at Cave Canem in New York City. Thank you to all those who came out for that event!! Your presence was inspiring and wonderful. CANTOS is the first of my decade long projects. With it, I consider Dante's idea of Purgatory in relationship to Jewish ideas of sin in the landscape of New York City. I am really happy with the limited edition issue (of which there are 16 left) - which includes original music and visual art and the digital letterpress poetry. I am really happy with it. If you want a copy, hit me up through facebook or via email: zorashorse_at_gmail
But because I know the price tag is steep and people might just want to read the poetry, I also made self published copies of that part of the project. The goal of the project was to make hand made books, so for that reason, I didn't seek a publisher...the poetry book and the catalogue (which describes the process of the project) are both available.
Then, as if that wasn't enough, I also just got back from Fire and Ink (#fireandink2015) in Detroit. What?!! That was beautiful and amazing and my greatest sadness was not being able to be at everyone else's panels/workshops. What an incredible gathering. So beautiful. Thank you to every single person who made that event what it was.
